One to say “if” in Japanese is with -たら. This is formed by adding ら to the plain-form past of any of the three sentence types. 例: どうし

動詞:食べる→食べたら;行く→行ったら けいようし

形容詞:新しい→あたらしかったら;ない→なかったら めいし

名詞+だ:車だ→車だったら 例: もっと強く押したら、ドアが開きますよ。 If you push harder, the door will open. Adding どう after a -たら clause makes a suggestion. Literally, it is saying “how would it be if…”. 例: パソコンを使ったらどうですか。 How about using a computer? 次の文章を、「でしょう」を使って日本語で書きなさい: 1.You’d understand if you asked the teacher. (speaking to a friend) (「でしょう」を使いなさい) _______________________________________________________________________________ 2. I’ll buy it if it’s cheap. (speaking to a friend) _______________________________________________________________________________ かのうけい

3. You’ll be able to get there in 30 minutes if you go by car. (可能形を使いなさい) _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ 4. If you have time, you should do things like seeing the ocean and the mountains. (speaking to a teacher) (「-法がいい」と「-たり-たりする」を使いなさい) _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ 5. It’s a little expensive, but why don’t you go by airplane? (speaking to a friend) _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ 6. We don’t have much time, so why don’t I make the cake? (speaking to a teacher) (「でしょう」を使いなさい) _______________________________________________________________________________
