IASAS RESULTS: Our 3rd season IASAS results were truly outstanding with all teams gaining a medal at the season ending tournaments. This is a fantastic result for our school and one that has not happened for a number of years. All coaches and athletes should be extremely proud of their efforts during this season to achieve so highly against the other IASAS schools. During the recent IASAS Board meeting in Singapore high praise was forthcoming from other IASAS AD’s and HS Principals’ as to how well ISM has done over the past two years and especially during this third season to medal in all tournaments. It was very pleasing to hear the many positive comments about how ISM students represent themselves as athletes and people in their interactions at the events. As this year’s IASAS and sports season draw to a close, I would like to thank all coaches and students that have participated in our program this year. It has been a great year for ISM with a large number of medals across all seasons and a variety of sports. This does not happen without the dedication of students and coaches to the program and I hope that our recent wave of success will continue and grow further as we approach next year. I am excited about the new school year already and hosting IASAS Soccer first season will be a great start to our year and an event for our school community to really get behind and support. Well done to all BEARCATS for your 08-09 efforts! 3rd Season Results: Track: Girls and Boys Teams – Silver Medal Badminton: Girls Team - Silver Medal; Boys Team – Bronze Medal Softball: Girls and Boys Teams – Silver Medal IASAS Medal Tally for 08-09 School Year: 2 Gold - (Girls Soccer and Boys Tennis) 11 Silver - (Girls/Boys Volleyball, Girls/Boys Cross Country, GirlsTouch, Girls/Boys Softball, Girls/Boys Track, Girls Badminton) 1 Bronze - (Boys Badminton)
