Toc H Public School: A Profile Toc H Public School, one of the most reputed schools in its category in Kerala, is situated in the heart of the state’s fastest-growing city, Kochi, on a sprawling scenically wellendowed campus near the backwaters. Now boasting a built-up area of 80,000 sq.ft. on a ground of over 6 ½ acres, the growth of the school in the thirty years of its existence is well-nigh without parallel and can be viewed with pride and gratification by its management. A visibly distinguishing characteristic of Toc H is that, in addition to being an academic institution preparing students for the CBSE examination, it has also a tradition of encouraging a wide range of extra curricular activities, literary, cultural and social, and inculcating in its students the topically relevant values of pluralism, international understanding and peace.

Origin:

The school is owned and managed by Toc H Public School Society, a social service organization based at Kochi, Kerala. This society is an offshoot of Toc H International which had its origin in Belgium in 1915, during the First World War, and it started functioning at Kochi in the year 1971. The members of the society sensed the need for a high quality educational establishment in the then state of the city. And as a result of the untiring efforts of the founding fathers, Toc H Public School came into existence in 1978. The school’s slogan, “Service is the rent we pay for our room on earth,” is borrowed from the motto of Toc H International.

Our mission:

Toc H School is committed to the multi-faceted growth and upliftment of students, by offering to them not merely the inputs that are necessary for excellent performance in the national level examinations, but also more general education designed to enhance maturity, breadth of vision and versatility of personality. The School is working to evolve and grow as a centre of educational excellence, making the students academically superior, ethically sensitive and socially and culturally active – all of which together would improve the quality of human life for those who interact with them at various stages in their lives, as well as for themselves.
