He notices the souls running from one side to the other, the panders and the seducers. Mental journeys Dante seems to be able to look at the punishment without swooning, but he has not shown pity either. Connections Dante isn’t showing pity of disgust really. It would seem that he is beginning to look at the punishment easier.
