Born Sept. 21, 1888, Mount Vernon (ILL), daughter of John Franklin and Hattie Victoria Brookman. Predeceased by a son, Frederick F. Marlowe, Rockford. Survivors include a son Byron C., Rockford; a daughter, Virginia Marlowe Hill, Altamonte Springs; four grandchildren, Anthony C. Marlowe, Jockgrim, West Germany, son of Frederick F. and Maxine Carter Marlowe Armstrong, Edmonds, Wash., Marjorie marlowe Orciger, Palos Hills (ILL), and Barbara Hill Dillon, Altamonte Springs; six great-grandchildren, William, Arnie and Charles Armstrong, Edmonds, Wash., Edward Orticiger, Palos Hills (ILL), and Gregory and Nicole Dillon, Altamonte Springs. Private family services and burial will be Wednesday, Nov. 2, 1983, at Willwood Burial Park with the Rev. Dean E. Dalrymple, pastor of Second Congregational Church, officiating.
