In Loving Memory Here lies the soul of a child. Who, upon entering manhood, left behind the dreams he once held sd dear. As he stooped to shoulder the weight of life, he found there was no room for starry eyed dreams. or knights in shining armor, or flying without wings. There could be no time for unicorns, or voices without form. And so, leaving these things behind, he took up his load, And set off to see the world as others saw it to be. The unicorn cried out, and shed its horn. The voices called, but fell on deaf ears, and then were silent. The knights laid down their armor, for there was no quest. The young man walked on. Wondering, as he shifted his burden, “What is this pain, and how long have I felt it? Why do my feet drag in the dirt so, when I used to skip, so lightly?” Oh well he thought, it must only be that I am not accustomed to my new burden. And so, shifting the weight, he trudged onward, drawing ever further from his dreams. FDVD
