Interview @ IITK There were three people sitting in the room when I knocked and entered. I was already nervous. They asked me to sit. 1st prof: Give me your file. 1st prof (looking into the file): Do you have any backlog? Me: No, sir. 1st prof: any grace? Me: No, sir. 1st prof: ok so you have qualified GATE. 2 years before. Me: No sir 4 years back in 2005 1st prof: Its not valid then Me: No. Its not 1st prof: Why dint you take admission Me: Sir, my score was not enough to get admission in any IITs 2nd prof: Tell me about your work Me: told 2nd prof: which database do you use Me: Oracle 2nd prof: Where is it? Me: sir Lincolnshire 2nd prof: Do you make changes directly at Lincolnshire. Me: No sir, told the whole procedure 2nd prof: Why do you use java, you have JSP for display and oracle as dB Me: sir, for putting the business logic 2nd prof: tell me some example. Me (It took me some time): told 2nd prof (pointing to 3rd prof): You want to ask something

3rd prof: Have you prepared your B.TECH stuff. Me: Yes sir 3rd prof: What is difference between DSP and microcontroller? Me: Pardon sir(I had never heard DSP). 3rd prof: DSP, Digital Synchronized Processor and micro controller. Me: I don’t know sir. 2nd prof: ok. Prashant we are done Me : Thank yoou sir
