INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID IAEB NO. 2009-02

SUPPLY OF JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR 3 YEARS Staff of Six (6) Sanitary Crews Five (5) for SRA Bacolod Office @ Php9,975.00/crew/month One (1) for SRA Cebu Office @Php10,635.00/month Total Approved Budget for the Contract = Php726,120.00 for the 1st year only The Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) – Visayas, through SRA Corporate Operating Budget 2009 intends to apply the sum of Seven Hundred Twenty-six Thousand One Hundred and Twenty Pesos (Php726,120.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Supply of Janitorial Services under SRA Job Request No. 09-06-106. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall automatically be rejected at Bid opening. The SRA now invites Bids from eligible bidders. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in Section II of the Bidding Documents, ITB. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criteria in the Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids. The Regional Bids and Awards Committee (RBAC) will conduct a post-qualification evaluation of the lowest calculated bid. All particulars relative to the Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of the Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR). Interested Bidders may obtain the Bidding Documents from the RBAC Secretariat upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Php1,000.00. The venue for the Receipt and Opening of Bids shall be at the Conference Room, Sugar Regulatory Administration, Araneta St., Singcang, Bacolod City. The SRA assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids. The SRA reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all Bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
