Explain the ‘sides’ – include maps/pictures and photos. Section 2: • Explain at least 6 ‘events’ of the Cold War. •
Include pictures and/or maps.

Include photos of significant people.
•
Include a personal comment regarding the significance of the event.

Why did the Cold War end?
•
What were the costs of the Cold War, both human and material?
•
What are the lasting ramifications of the Cold War?
•
What are the lessons of the Cold War?
You will be assessed on the depth and detail of your factual content and of your ability to express and support your opinions. To achieve higher grades you need to develop thoughtful and detailed answers.
