Gse Day-24

Day 24 (Thu 18 May) Today, we begin with another transfer, to another club in St. Etienne. Our first visit is up Valerie’s alley, a local food bank. T

hen on to the Museum of Modern Art. Junior becomes one with the art. We have a very enthusiastic guide who explains many pieces in much detail. It is not clear that Junior buys each a particular pitch.

We have a club meeting (St. Etienne Est) with presentation at lunchtime, which meets at the Museum for Modern Art. Even the dining room chairs are works of art. They don’t work too well, but they are very artistic. Henrietta entertains her table. Junior explains the challenges of his search for a french wife. (A running joke with our hosts since our first week) We have some free time in the afternoon and Junior and Valerie are on quests for haircuts.

We have dinner out with our host families. Valerie and Henrietta are very excited with the arrival of les escargots, which are dispatched with great relish.
