Day 29 (Tue 23 May) Today is our last full day in France. After a light breakfast at the hotel, we strike out for l‘atelier creation-restauration de vitraux (http://www.vitrail-center.com/).
Our host is Rotarian Joël Mône. His is a shop where stained glass windows are created or repaired.
A feast of craft and color.
Then a walk through town, paying attention to architecture and glass before packing into a small car to head for our last Rotary meeting. It was to have been a our last presentation, but an important politician became available, so we were privileged to listen to a long political speech instead.
Then on with our two intrepid hosts for a boat ride down the Saône to the confluence and up the Rhône a bit. Then back through town and a last group photo op.
