Gse Day-22

Day 22 (Tue 16 May) From Montbrison, we head for St. Etienne. We’re not covering the kind of territory our french counterparts did to cover Dist 5520, but we spent our share of time in transit, always well rewarded, of course.

We see some of the town of St. Galmier and surrounding countryside. Again we are on the Loire, the longest river in France. Specifically, we are at Le Gorges de la Loire.. We can see a castle from which we took pictures a day or two before. We find a church or two, have discussions with our hosts about what else we might want to see before our next appointment, and find an exhibit at Château de St. Victor S/Loire.
