Gatherings

“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." -Matthew 18:20

What Is Your Witness?

Song of Praise TRADING MY SORROWS I'm trading my sorrows. I'm trading my shame. I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord. I'm trading my sickness. I'm trading my pain. I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord. Yes Lord, Yes Lord, Yes Yes Lord (x3) Amen

(x2)

I am pressed but not crushed persecuted not abandoned Struck down but not destroyed I am blessed beyond the curse for his promise will endure And his joy's going to be my strength Though the sorrow may last for the night His joy comes with the morning

Gatherings I'm trading my sorrows. I'm trading my shame. I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord. I'm trading my sickness. I'm trading my pain. I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord. Yes Lord, Yes Lord, Yes Yes Lord (x3) Amen (x2) I'm trading my sorrows. I'm trading my shame. I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord. I'm trading my sickness. I'm trading my pain. I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord. (Repeat x2)

Song of Worship Light of the world You stepped down into darkness. Opened my eyes, let me see. Beauty that made this heart adore You Hope of a life spent with You Here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that You're my God You're altogether lovely Altogether worthy, Altogether wonderful to me King of all days oh, so highly exalted Glorious in heaven above Humbly You came To the earth You created All for love's sake became poor

Gatherings Here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that You're my God You're altogether lovely Altogether worthy, Altogether wonderful to me I'll never know how much it cost To see my sin upon that cross I'll never know how much it cost To see my sin upon that cross I'll never know how much it cost To see my sin upon that cross I'll never know how much it cost Here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that You're my God You're altogether lovely Altogether worthy, Altogether wonderful to me

What Is Your Witness?

Gatherings John 4: 6-14 6Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.  7There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.  8(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) 9Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.  11The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? 12Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?  13Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:  14But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Are We All Witnesses?

Gatherings

What is Our Witness? When we are out in the world what “water” do we offer by our actions? Do we exemplify the “living” water Christ offers or do we offer plain water??

Gatherings Matthew 5:14-16: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven.”

Gatherings I Peter 2:9

9But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

When we are being examined by the world, what does the world see? Do we act chosen? Are we peculiar? Do we show the world what Christ did for us?
