Galileo Came Into My Dreams

My Tribute to the Legend, “Galileo” Sardar Khushwant Singh Ji, (sorry to make you bali ka bakra) Sir, regarding International Year of Astronomy, Galileo came into my dream (like so many Gods do, to build their temples). As fear of any punishment and keeping your age in his mind he proposed me to contact you for the publication of the following letter. If survived, I am supposed to pay you thanks otherwise; Galileo himself would welcome you in heavens. The missiles, oh sorry the matter of the letter is To The Supreme Power Department of Ultimate Truth Heavens Subject:

2009 as International Year of Astronomy.

Sir, A mortal man naming Galileo from Italy just 400 years ago had tried to intervene in your supremacy. He had tried to challenge what so ever we had written in the Holy Bible. By our sincere efforts and with the help of the then Pope, we were successful to impose death sentence on him. In the name of God Allah, Paramatma, Waheguru, Atma, Punay, Papa, Moksha, invisible and immortal Supreme Power we again successfully ruled the society. Honestly speaking we forced the society to dedicate everything, ‘except money’ to you. To keep you alive in the minds of common man, film industry through out the world also joined hands with us. Recently, Mahabharata and Ramayana were welcomed by them not less than live telecast. But our wonder world and your supremacy both seem to be in danger. The common man may divert towards science (a few of them have already). He may prefer looking through the eyes of telescope. Our concepts may completely be replaced with Darwin’s theory of evolution and Newton’s law of gravitation. So please do something as we may fail to face so many Galileo’s.
