Moving towards knowledge based economy Malaysia has recognized the importance of knowledge workers in order to develop various technologies, to improve productivities and continues to attract foreign direct investment (FDI). The success of companies in knowledge based economy today, lies more on its knowledge and intellectual capital than on other resources. Therefore, transferring knowledge from foreign Multinational Corporations (MNC) to local workforces is a basic step for future sustainable competitive advantages. However, offshore direct investments from foreign MNCs are strategies in manipulation of local expertise knowledge. This study focuses on
comparing the knowledge inflow and outflow of Bumiputera professional workforces at Serdang High-Technology Park (SHT).
