Everyone Who Has Will Be Given Luke 19: 11‐27 1.
An equal amount of graces <12‐13> The parable carries a very different meaning as written in <Matt25: 14‐ 30>, which talks about servants given 5 talents, 2 talents and 1 talent. In this parable, it emphasizes that the master had given the same amount of resources to the servants (who are the saints) a. For every saint in Christ, he/she is given an equal amount of graces = the graces are infinite for all the saints and they should not compare among themselves. b. The graces which are given to the saints are infinite <Ephesians 1: 17‐19> i. The revival life within Emanuel (salvation from curse to blessedness, from darkness to light, from satan to the Father in Heaven). ii. The eternal love and promises (The 4 gospelization and God’s presence). iii. The principals of eternity, Christ’s name, the infinite Holy Spirit. iv. The blessings from the Heaven, the earth and throughout eternal. c. The infinite graces will only be revealed through different attributes of a saint. i. The example of saints whom are called to be blessed: They have very different attributes, background, age and occupation. # Joseph, Moses, Rahab, Ruth, Daniel, Mordecai/120 disciples whom have gathered at Mark’s mansion. ii. When a disciple is called to be blessed, all of his/her attributes and qualifications are of paramount importance. # When the 75 years old Abram meets with God / when Moses who was 80 year old when he meets with God / when Ruth who has nothing meets with God. 2. Different Rewards <16‐24> The master came back after he obtained a kingdom and he has called his servants to report the returns in business. The master rewards are proportional to the amount which the servants had made; As for the saints on earth, they will have to be accountable and be judged as well. a. The graces given are the same, but it yields different results (there were 4 different people in the parable, it relates to the 4 different categories of people in today’s society) i. The dead ones = Those who revolts the king = unbelievers (those who doesn’t acknowledge that Christ is the Lord are those whom are against Him) ii. The ones without results = The servant who preserves the minas = The disciples who couldn’t utilize the graces in real life (those whom are religious) iii. Those who yield results = yielded 5 minas = a certain degree of utilization of graces in life. iv. The crown of eternal glory = yielded 10 minas = Those disciples whom are faithful and gentle at heart = a good steward towards the gifts of God = their resources will increase in due time b. How can we become good stewards of the graces from God?
3.
‘Master, your mina has earned ten minas’. And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’ * For those servants who have the bird’s eye view, plans, resources, schedule of work, contacts, how can they start working on something? = Moses / David / Paul’s testimony * In order to be a good steward of the graces of God, it is important to establish and root these graces in Christ. Knowing how to establish a systematic approach to the content of graces, and knowing how to follow the guidance of the Lord is important too. i. The establishment of the alter, tabernacle and the Most Holy Place = formatting our life’s principles = knowing God (meeting God), understand our selves (knowing our identity), knowing our relationship with God (a relationship of the Father, son and Lord), grabbing whole of the secrets of communicating with God, gospelizing our life objectives (the 4 gospelizations) , align our content of life with the will of God and having a good heart (loving God and the people). ii. Strengthening the principles of life’s activities = focus on the tabernacle and the body of Christ. iii. Offering sacrifices day and night = like to communicate with God = loving God and as a result, we are cleansed, we obtain the Lord’s will, strength and we know how to follow the Lord. iv. We are being blessed by graces, love and blissfulness in all ways = praising the Lord with our songs and heart = living a life which glorifies God, beneficial to the people and for the better establishment of the Kingdom. v. Fishers of man = saving lives, healing lives and manifesting gentleness to others. * Bearing fruits of inner and outer sanctification. c. Those disciples who lives without a proper format = they do not have a proper established and a rooted faith, judgment and social graces. ‘Master, here is your mina, which I have kept put away in a handkerchief. For I feared you, because you are an austere man. You collect what you did not deposit, and reap what you did not sow.’ And he said to him, ‘Out of your own mouth I will judge you, you wicked servant...' i. Disciples who live in dissoluteness and indulgence (the life of Lot) ii. Disciples whom are lukewarm at faith (Ananias and Sapphira
) iii. Disciples whom are fervent at heart but are confused (King Saul’s style) iv. Disciples whom are being loved but were discouraged (the disciples at the road to Emmaus) Everyone who has will be given; and from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him <25‐26> a. Everyone who has will be given = the circulation of goodness * More graces will be given to those who root and establish their life in Christ every day. It will also be given to those who prays, who mingles with the body of Christ and who walks with Christ in every endeavor. i. <1 Timothy 4: 7‐11> Having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come (looking upon the Lord), making all things as a means to learn and it will increase our wisdom in due time.
ii.
<Eph 6: 10‐18> Able to obtain the secrets of fighting the spiritual war. iii. <James 1: 2‐4, 1 Peter 1: 5‐7> Gaining 7 folds of graces especially during tough and troubled times. iv. Obtain the methods of execution in everything and executing the tasks depending on the strength which was given. v. Door of Gospel will continue to be opened and through that, we’ll grow and God will be glorified through the works of Gospel. It will benefit others and towards the establishment of the Kingdom. vi. <2 Timothy 2: 1‐8> Disciples will rise and they will continue to bring more disciples. The door of the Gospel will be open as well. b. From him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him = the circulation of evil deeds i. Those who falls to the desires of flash, unbelief, in doubts, messy thoughts and people who are lukewarm at faith. ii. People whom are always worry, fearful, anxious, discontented, easily angered and lives in hatred. iii. People who go after foundationless mysticism, illogical legalism and good attitudes of other people which doesn’t yield results. iv. Foundationless faith, vision, bondage, pressures from surroundings, the problems of the world, unable to cast out the demons, the lies and accusation from the power of the darkness, directionless, powerless, spiritual dryness, unable to see God’s love, help and blessings. v. This will bring bad influence to the spiritual environment of other people and people whom are close will leave. c. Turning the circulation of curse to good i. The experience on the road to Emmaus / the transformation of the 120 disciples in Mark’s mansion / the transformation of Paul on his way to Damascus ii. The very moment when a person knows Christ / when the Holy Spirit descends / the moment when we see God * Many disciples who had been greatly used by God will have the same experiences at such that God purposely allow them to meet failure so that they could be strengthen later, and that their lives could be renewed. As a result, they could have the strength to strengthen their brothers * We should not be affected by our pass failures; as for today, we should revive the Emmanuel God’s love and plans according to our attributes and enter into the grace of the “circulation of goodness”. = We have to deeply believe that the essence of success (Emmanuel) is in our lives. = The beginning of the blessedness of personal, family, the church and all of our human relationships. ÅÆ If we do not know how to give thanks and be joyous for today, we have in no ways to hope for the blessings and the graces of tomorrow.
