THE ENTOG EXCHANGE AND MEETING 2009. The 19th European Meeting and Exchange Programme of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology will be held from 8th to 13th of June 2009 in Budapest. The exchange programme will take place from the 8th to the 11th of June 2009 in hospitals across Hungary. On the 12th of June the ENTOG Annual meeting will take place in Budapest. The ENTOG Council will meet on the 13th of June. The conference is titled "New trends and technologies and their effect on training." The college has sponsorship for 2 participants to attend the exchange and meeting. Applicants should be at St3 level or above and have worked for a minimum of 2 years in the UK. You can read about previous trainees’ experience of the exchange programme on the RCOG website. Criteria For Selecting Participants For The European Exchange Programme For Trainees In O&G 1. The aims of the exchange are: o
For the individual to acquire wider knowledge of other European training systems
o
For individuals to contribute a description of UK training
o
For experience of work in a different unit, system and culture
o
For the individual to bring back ideas to benefit the trainees in the UK
