English Project Sports news Project I) Prepare your own Sports news newspaper. - Sport news tells us about the events that had happened in the sport world. - Gather in groups of 3 to make the project. II) You will need: -

A big sheet of paper or cardboard. Crayons, markers. Ruler. Scissors. Pictures, cut-outs of sports. Creativity.

III) What to do: -

Gather in groups of 3 Choose a name for your newspaper (be creative!) Create 2 sports news. Use pictures or visual clues.(they must be related to the sport) Use the past simple to express the ideas of the news (played, won, jumped, ran etc) Use at least 2 verbs in the news Create a fun and colorful newspaper.

IV) Evaluation. your team will be evaluated with a Team work evaluation (it will be done by your group) (50%) - your team will be evaluated by the teacher with a rubric. (50%) - the rubric evaluation will take into account: final product, organization, use of past simple, creativity, to be neat and deliver the project on time. Deadline: October, 13th. -
