Bill Nowak is currently Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Policy Research for NYS Senator Antoine M. Thompson, the Chair of the NY State Senate Environmental Conservation Committee. Senator Thompson brought Bill on staff to fortify his aggressive agenda to improve environmental quality and create green jobs throughout New York State. Bill was a founder and driving force behind the Wind Action Group. He previously served as Executive Director of Green Gold Development Corp., a not-for-profit entity set up to support green business activity in WNY. Bill is well known in the environmental community for his tireless efforts to inform and energize the public around environmental issues. His efforts were instrumental in bringing the Steel Winds project to Western New York as shown by the Wind Action Group logo proudly displayed on one of the turbine towers.
