The Western New York Apollo Alliance Would like to invite you to participate in The Apollo Home Energy Conservation Program We need volunteers to help lower energy consumption for low and moderate income homeowners.

Join the HECK Team Fight Poverty and Pollution at the Same Time

Work Volunteers: will help 50 Buffalo homeowners with simple energy conservation measures such as weather stripping, caulking, and hot water pipe and heater insulation, using a Home Energy Conservation Kit (HECK). Education Volunteers: will provide conservation tips and information about free and subsidized programs to weatherize homes, repair or replace appliances, and cut energy bills. The result? Money saved for homeowners, and energy saved for a cleaner environment.

No prior experience is required. Volunteer trainings:
