Easter is near
Lazarovden. It is a school’s tradition, our LAZARKI to sing and dance in our town – Nova Zagora.
We safe the old Bulgarian tradition and some of our girls, with their teachers: Stoeva and Moneva every year greeting our town with this tradition.
The LAZARKI sing special, ritual songs
They know them from their Grands
There is a different song for the lass, the lad, the girl, the child, the host, the shepherd and etc.
A lot of our girls want to be LAZARKA
Because it, they receive white eggs for Easter
LAZAROVDEN /St. Lazar’s Day/ always on Saturdays a week before Easter – next day is the day of flowers – CVETNICA
