Here is the text log of our D&D adventure on June 7, 2009. It's going to look like there's like 15 people here, because you can either say things as yourself, or as your character name. FBer FrackTruck, aka Berechek, the Dwarven cleric Gneekman's friend jugglinfreak, aka Zack, aka Heskan Bardisch, the Dragonborn warlord. and last (and may or may not be least), Gneekman's friend Styks, aka Markas, the human wizard. Zack: not to my knowledge [this was in response to Mike asking over skype whether Heskan had spent any healing surges]. Sirkana Embersight: HP is maxed at 49 DrPepperMD: yeah, can spend healing surges during short rest. Heskan Bardisch: Rhyd'Ley uses 2 healing surges. He now has 53 HP and 6 surges remaining. [it says Rhyd'Ley because as Zack noted, his macros got left on a different computer, so he had to borrow Rhyd'Leys.] DrPepperMD: lol forgot to change name. Gneekman: lol stolen macros The Master: The hallway to the right actually ends in large, ornate doors (not pictured) Zack: want to go clear that room? Suffice it say that a mysterious elf showed up again and told us that our Tiefling friend Karch Silvertongue had a secret. DrPepperMD: ugh, that guy again Karch Silvertongue: Gilgathorn! Gilgathorn 1: Well I must commend you for gathering all this delcious bounty together in one place. This makes my job so much easier. Karch Silvertongue: Tell me what you want from me before I run you through Rhyd'Ley: I knew this guy was up to something Sirkana Embersight: Who is this man? Gilgathorn 1: Well normally, Karch, this would be a perfect opportunity for a gentlemen's duel. I see, however, that those pitiful kidnappers were more than a match for you, and I am not one to attack the recently deceased. [Karch had recently died in a fight against some kidnappers. With a substantial payment to the local temple, they were able to bring him back to life, but he is still weakened from the ordeal]. Berechek: he doesnt look friendly thats fer sure Karch Silvertongue: A former ally of mine, a thief, and a traitor. Sirkana Embersight: But the others seems to have met him before also....? Gilgathorn 1: Now the lot of you, on the other hand. Well, that just might be a fair fight... Karch Silvertongue: In Falldun he managed to convince the simpleton elders that I was stealing from the temple, which I of course would NEVER do... Karch Silvertongue: His right eye is all the revenge I was able to take before I was run out of the town. Rhogar: We have run into this man several times. He always seems to be headed the same place that we are. He recently informed us that the bounty on our heads had recently been doubled. Sirkana Embersight: ah Mike I love you too! lol [responding to Mike on skype saying �I love you too, but you can't lay there where my papers are.� the first of several instances of Mike forgetting that his mic was on.] Rhyd'Ley: I suppose he would be one to know about bounties, then Karch Silvertongue: It's a safe bet there's one on his head too. [poor damage]. DrPepperMD: shift away and finished 6 to save. [again, failed to save. That means Rhogar is still blinded and still taking a penalty to attacks]. Styks: My router hates him, but they made up apparently. Sean (Karch): Gerbil attack! [this is going to take a while. Karch has a power called �Ferret Out Fraility�. For weeks I had heard him say the name out loud and I thought it was �Faired Out Fraility� or something like that. The first time he wrote it in chat, we lost our minds for a couple of minutes, imaging that a little ferret shows up and somehow helps him attack. And then decided that it was even better as a gerbil. So it's now Karch's Gerbil Attack.] Kris (Sirkana): well he IS prone... Sean (Karch): With Infernal Wrath... Gilgathorn 1: (( not seeing you on skype )) Sean (Karch): Ah, good point DrPepperMD: save the gerbil for another time [the gerbil attack gives him combat advantage. but when someone is knocked down (prone) like Gilgathorn, they're already granting combat advantage. No reason to use the gerbil]. Sean (Karch): OK then.. he Karch Silvertongue: Karch seizes the advantage, and unleashes a Staggering Assault with his dagger - 19 vs AC Sean (Karch): ugh Sean (Karch): no miss condition...thinking about my other AP Sean (Karch): done Karch Silvertongue: Saving Throw: 5 [failed to save against blindness]. Sean (Karch): Karch is still blinded by rage Sean (Karch): ...and a pepperbomb Gneekman: ...and the light [we do a blinded by the light joke almost every time someone ends up blinded.
