METHODS OF COLLECTING DATA The data was collected mostly from primary sources. During the period (1-06-2009 to 15-07-2009) the survey was conducted in CUTTACK . During the period of this study I got the responsibility to give demonstrations to consumers and thus I got the opportunity to talk to the consumers directly and check their awareness level about website. During my interactions with the consumers I always tried my best to make them understand that how working of an organization can be well developed & how it affects the life business and tried to reveal various relative advantages of website. Sample size: The total sample size is 175 numbers. Which is further divided as follows? Small Scale Industries 25 Large Scale Industries 25 Hospitals 25 Institutions 25 Government Organizations 25 Builders & Promoters 25 Travel Agencies 25 Jewelry and garments 25 --------------------------------------------------Total 200

SAMPLING METHOD: Stratified random sampling was done for each of the specified category mentioned above, so as to ensure that the sampling represents all sections of users as well as non users.

ANALYSIS AND FINDINGS Organizations having website  More Than 50% LSI, Hospitals, Institutions, Government Organization, Real Estate  The versatile IT service Pvt. Ltd , Softweb Technology have more client in cuttack  It is clear that all the sector are investing more in 10000-25000 package  Maximum sector are using website for less than 1 year in cuttack The main purpose of website is to do advertisement and it is also status symbol  The major sectors are not fully satisfied by having website because of poor after sell service  Maximum they say yes ,may be or can’t say about to change the website developer

Organizations don’t have website

 Less Than 50% SMI, Travel Agency, Jewelry & Garment  Maximum not having website due to they not aware about the benefit of the website.  Maximum are will to purchase the website if all the benefits are disclosed to them and the price should be between 10000-25000

CONCLUSION  Demand is there in the Cuttack market but is not too much  Awareness may lead to demand creation in cuttack market  As the Market of cuttack grows rapidly demand of website in all sector increasing rapidly  Maximum real estate & institution have more demand than other sectors  As the demand is growing rapidly iLEX media solution pvt. Ltd. has opportunity to attract the people but it to compete with other wesite developers.

RECOMMENDATIONS  Thus it can be seen that it is a normal human tendency of the consumers to purchase the commodity when the price is low & to post pond it’s demand when there is rise in price in case of elastic goods. So the company should try to introduce the package which is having all the facility with cheaper rate.  More advertisement/ Promotion are required as the company is in introductory stage.  The company should try to create a demand in the mind of peoples of Cuttack by making awareness though various media.  Proper and effective service should be provided to the customer though which they will not think of diversifying.  Company should give preference to SME , institutions and real estate sector as they are growing in faster rate .
