Lesson Aims: Revise previous knowledge of 1 point perspective from junior cert Visualise the vanishing point and the shape of the object in perspective Complete question 1 on perspective (letter N) within 20 mins of class time
Learning Outcomes: Develop their knowledge from junior cycle perspective to senior cycle perspective Visualise the object appearing foreshortened through perspective Complete question 1 on perspective within the class time
The Lesson: Learning outcomes discussed (2 min) (O) Recap on previous knowledge of topic using rubric (6 min) (O,G,L,MA.N,C&I,CL) The teacher uses an animated powerpoint to explain what perspective is and how it relates to the real world eye. (5 min) (C&I,MA) Question 1 discussed with the teacher and students. The teacher will run through question under the visualizer after powerpoint question shown to reinforce new topic.
