PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT OF CONJUNCTIVITIS Audience: Senior High school students Purpose: To provide SHS students knowledge and promote awareness about Conjunctivitis and how to prevent and manage it. Goal: Audience will give importance to proper hygiene and proper hand washing. Objectives Content Outline Methods of Time Resources teaching Allotted (Instructional materials) Following a 50-minute teaching session, the Senior High school students will be able to: 1. Discuss and enumerate The different types of the different types of Conjunctivitis: Viral, Allergic, 15 minutes  Power point Conjunctivitis Bacterial, Chemical etc. presentation (Cognitive) Lecture  Pictorial clip chart 2. Identify the possible causes of Conjunctivitis (Cognitive)

3. The students will discuss how they can prevent and manage conjunctivitis and demonstrate the procedure (Psychomotor and Cognitive)

Identify possible causes of Conjunctivitis A. Adenoviruses B. Allergies C. Bacteria D. Improper hygiene Identify prevention: A. Proper hand washing B. Keep dirty hands away from the eyes. C. Maintain good hygiene. Identify management: A. Applying cold compress
