LEGEND/REMARKS: Level of Difficulty (refers to the difficulty of the chosen piece) Musicality (refers to the artistic interpretation and expression of the piece, this includes the use of dynamic, articulation and tempo markings) Musicianship (refers to the technical interpretation of the performance, intonation, diction, blending and balance of the voice) Fidelity to the score (refers to the faithful adherence to the music score) Stage Presence and Deportment (refers to the overall appearance of the choir before, during and after the performance, this includes facial expression, stage disciple and audience impact) Intonation (accuracy of the pitch) Diction (phrasing and wording)
* note the in choice piece, musicality is higher than the musicianship, this will allow the conductor to add more subjective interpretation to the performance) * on the other hand in the contest piece, fidelity to the score is included *stage and deportment will be separated and will be included for both choice and contest piece
NOTE FOR THE ORGANIZER – it is easier to use point system than percentage system but it’s your choice. =) also remind each participating choir to submit music sheet as this will be used for grading their choice piece =)
