Range of professional backgrounds sought: • experience in managing Māori-owned commercial assets • second tier management or Chief Executive experience • corporate experience, particularly in profit & loss roles • experience as an entrepreneur or in business development • senior experience in non-traditional sectors for women e.g. sciences, engineering • lawyers with seven or more years of experience, especially partners of legal firms, or lawyers with significant commercial expertise • accountants with seven or more years of experience, especially partners of accountancy firms or professional services firms. Useful to have: • understanding of governance and/or previous governance experience • good public profile.
