Change Politics Movement Grievance Committee 1) Grievance is referred to as a formal written complaint by

CPM

member/s who believe that he/she/they have been aggrieved by a decision, misrepresented, marginalized; and for other

issues and

concerns that needs to be mediated and addressed by the grievance committee. 2) The grievance committee shall conduct investigation and gather information (statements/witnesses) pertaining to the filed complaints and grievance. Mediation and conflict resolution shall be instituted to address all grievances and complaints. Arbitration shall be the last resort

to

address

complaints

and

grievances.

The

grievance

committee will remain impartial by hearing all sides/parties involved. Complaints and grievance may be in the following form : a) Nomination issues b) Voting issues c) Membership issues d) And all other formal written complaints submitted by member/s 3) The grievance committee shall be composed of three (3) members. It will be formed in the municipal, provincial and national level. Members will be selected according to their integrity, probity and trusted by the members and considering gender balance as well.

4) The national grievance committee members (3 persons) shall come from the provincial coordinators of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. They shall be nominated and chosen by each region’s provincial coordinator by consensus or vote.

5) The term of office of the grievance committee shall be concurrent with the term of the national council unless they resign or the party involved in the complaint or conflict. 6) Local complaints should be addressed in the municipal level and can only be elevated to the provincial level should it remains unresolved. Complaints that will be addressed in the national level are those that have national implication or complaints and conflicts between and among provinces/regions. 7) Any filed grievance should be addressed and resolved within 10 calendar days in the municipal level, 15 calendar days in the province level, and 20 calendar days in the national level. 8) Enforcement and compliance measure shall be instituted once grievances and complaints are addressed. Party or parties involved are expected to comply to negotiated terms and conditions that will be agreed upon.
