: Hello girl. What’s up?

A

: Well, do you have time now? I really need you to do me a favor.

B

: Yes, I’m free now. Of course I’m always free for my bestfriend. So, what is it? Come on, tell me.

A

: Well, someone had asked me out for a movie.

B

: Well that’s good. Then what is the problem?

A

: Well I’m not sure if I should take his invitation. I am so sick of dating after the divorce. I don’t think it’s a good idea.

B

: Okay, my suggestion is to just take the invitation. Just open your heart a little bit. There’s to long already for you not to enjoy being single again. Maybe you would find him special and fit the man you’re looking for all this time. Not all man are the same, just go ‘shopping’ again.

A

: Well even if I take his invitation, I wouldn’t have anything to wear. It has been too long since I go out for a date and the last time was a disaster.

B

: Okay, just take my advice. Go out to a shopping mall with me and we will find a good dress for you. Okay?

A

: Okay. I really glad to have a bestfriend like you Jane.

B

: Well, what are you waiting for? We will be late. I’ll fetch you 30 minutes from now.

b) You and your friend are eating at a cafeteria. Your lecturer approaches your table and asks whether he/she could share your table. Indicate that you don’t mind and make a small talk while you are eating together. : Good. So how is our class today?

A

: Well, I really liked the topic sir. It makes me want to know more.

B

: Yes, the topic about ‘Stress’ are really interesting. I think it helps me a lot on how to overcome my work stress.

Lecturer

: Work stress is a severe psychological sickness. A lot of Malaysian nowadays suffered from work stress. But little have known that they had it. People were just ignored them until they became uncontrollable and caused many bad action throughout their life. Sometimes it causes death.

A

: I’ve read an article about ‘Work Stress’ before and it says that Japan is the most increasing numbers of people that’s suffering from work stress compared to other countries.

B

: Is it because of workaholic?

Lecturer

: Yes but there are other factor contribute to it like the hassles in our working place.

B

: But how can we find out that we have a work stress?

Lecturer

: Well, the process is still the same as the common stress. There will be a headache, heart problems, high-blood pressure, depression or an

unbalance mood. But the effect will be different by one to another. Maybe the first person will suffer high-blood pressure but the second person may be suffering from depression and no sign of high-blood pressure. Sometimes it depends on the stages of the stress. A

:Sir, I wonder. Do stress causes cold?

Lecturer

: I suppose so. The University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre had come with a study about the relation of stress related emotion towards physical illnesses and the results are significant.

A

: What is the study all about?

Lecturer

: The study is about the measurement of stress towards emotion on an unhardy and hardy person and the most common stress related emotion that can cause cold. As the result, loneliness is the major causes of cold.

: Wow, that’s interesting.

B

: Oh, my. It is almost 6.30 p.m. I have to go first. Thanks for the sharing sir.

Lecturer

: Better get going before it rains.

: Safe journey.
