Colour Coding of Equipment (As recommended by The British Institute of Cleaning Science) At (insert company name here) we operate the industry recognised colour coding procedure to avoid the danger of cross contamination. This means that all of our equipment and cloths etc are colour coded and are ‘area specific’.

Red – Sanitary appliances and washroom floors Blue – General lower risk areas Green – General food, kitchen and bar use Yellow – Wash basins and other washroom surfaces
