Thermoplastic Road Marking During early 90’s Mumbai Traffic Police wanted to apply Thermoplastic Road Markings. This product was not available in India and we were asked to help them out. Though road marking and paint industry has got nothing to do with IT sector due to customer demand CMS entered into this field. CMS imported materials from world leaders from Europe, USA and Far East and also imported an Automatic Marking Machine first time in India. There were quite a number of experimentation that took place and it was found that for tropical Indian conditions a specific combination of the material is required. CMS have developed a formulation, which is unmatched in its brightness, adhesive property and ease of application for any type of applications
Today CMS make Thermoplastic Road Marking material is widely acclaimed as the best. Over the years this product is being applied in through out the length and breadth of India at various projects and is undoubtedly the market leader considering the quality of the product. Today in the market there are many applicators who use CMS material for their works and are willing to stand guarantee for the job. Today CMS specialises in quality material, technical services and quality control of the product. The products are regularly tested in Laboratories both in India and abroad for its consistency. MATERIALS OF THERMOPLASTIC ROAD MARKING This work will consist of providing and applying of Thermoplastic Road Marking on both the Carriageways. 1.
MATERIAL : I)
Thermoplastic Material : The thermoplastic material is manufactured by M/s.CMS Traffic Systems Limited., Mumbai. This consists of aggregate, pigment, resin and glass beads as per Technical Specification BS 3262, Or MORTH Specification.
II)
Glass Beads : Class A beads are those which are a constituent of basic thermoplastic compound and Class B beads are those which are to be sprayed on to the surface. Both conform to the Technical Specification BS 6088.
