Cementaid Hydrophobic Pore-Blocking Ingredients(HPI) as Permanent Waterproofing System for Roof Deck of Mall Ciputra Citra Raya, Cikupa Project.

Thank you for the opportunity you had given us to propose Cementaid PERMANENT HPI Waterproofing Systems for the above subject structures and project. Based on the drawings, specifications and project condition such as thickness, water pressure and location of the above subject project, I am pleased to submit the following Hydrophobic Pore-blocking Ingredient(HPI) proposal as a PERMANENT waterproofing System for the (Basement, STP, Water Tanks and exposed structures such as Roof Deck) of the above subject project, as follows. Recommendation: Use CEMENTAID Hydrophobic Pore-Blocking Ingredients(HPI) as concrete permanent waterproofing systems detailed as follows: A. For all superstructures above habitable areas (i.e. above Bed Room, Offices, Hotel Room, Function Room, Electrical Room, etc.). All concrete such as Slab and Beams of Roof Deck including 10 cm X 10 cm kicker wall along roof perimeter(where applicable), shall be PERMANENTLY

waterproofed by the addition of Cementaid HYDROPHOBIC PORE-BLOCKING INGREDIENT (HPI) named 3CC PB(B) REINFORCED SYSTEM containing polymer globules as extra pore-blocking Ingredient. The HPI main ingredient should react with the cement to produce a water-repellent material which will coat the capillary walls serving as an internal membrane which fundamentally reverses concrete’s normal capillary “wicking” or absorptive action, producing instead concrete with a uniformly Hydrophobic Matrix or concrete which is intrinsically water-repellent throughout its entire mass. Furthermore, 3CC PB(B) should contain extra PORE-BLOCKING INGREDIENTS, a discrete polymer globules which should move together with the bleed water 1

and collect inside the capillaries; that when hardened concrete is subjected to water pressure, the globules should coalesce to form a physical plug to block water entry. 3CC PB(B) Reinforced System should be used in such a way that the concrete shall have a corrected 30 minute water absorption of not greater than 1.50 % as measured by BS 1881:Part 122:1983 except that the age at test shall be 7 days(when aggregate silt content is not more than 5%) and shall be complying with the 3CC PB(B) REINFORCED SYSTEM minimum requirement stipulated below. The dosage of 3CC PB(B) REINFORCED shall be at the rate of 15 liters per cubic meter of concrete and dosed at the Batching Plant together with batch water. To greatly reduce voids and shrinkage crack, 3CC PB(B) Reinforced System shall be combined with Cementaid other concrete enhancing admixture so that the resulting (water+15)/cement ratio shall not be more than 0.36 and that the 3CC PB(B) Reinforced System concrete slump prior to placing is at 16 cm to 20. 3CC PB(B) Reinforced System include other ingredient and compound to substantially reduce cracks caused by factors as well as plastic shrinkage cracks. B. For all superstructures above non-habitable areas(i.e. above Car Park) All concrete such as Slab and Beams of Roof Deck including 10 cm X 10 cm kicker wall along roof perimeter(where applicable), shall be PERMANENTLY

waterproofed by the addition of Cementaid HYDROPHOBIC PORE-BLOCKING INGREDIENT (HPI) named AQUAPEL 10 PB REINFORCED SYSTEM containing polymer globules as extra pore-blocking Ingredient. The HPI main ingredient should react with the cement to produce a water-repellent material which will coat the capillary walls serving as an internal membrane which fundamentally reverses concrete’s normal capillary “wicking” or absorptive action, producing instead concrete with a uniformly Hydrophobic Matrix or concrete which is intrinsically water-repellent throughout its entire mass. The dosage of AQUAPEL 10 PB REINFORCED shall be at the rate of 10 liters per cubic meter of concrete and dosed at the Batching Plant together with batch water. To greatly reduce voids and shrinkage crack, AQUAPEL 10 PB Reinforced System shall be combined with Cementaid other concrete enhancing admixture so that the resulting (water+10)/cement ratio shall not be more than 0.36 and that the AQUAPEL 10 PB Reinforced System concrete slump prior to placing

is at 16 cm to 20. AQUAPEL 10 PB Reinforced System include other ingredient and compound to substantially reduce cracks caused by factors as well as plastic shrinkage cracks. C. Waterstop: ALL Construction Joints, Pipe Projections, Floor Drains and Tie Rod Points shall be using Cementaid Everdure Waterstop, a controlled expansion waterstop, an active butyl rubber based wasterstop which activates after approximately 5 - 10 days of constant exposure to water. The waterstop material should not expand prematurely and should not absorb water from the fresh concrete poured against it. Use CEMENTAID controlled expansion butyl rubber based Everdure Waterstop. Use 15mmx20mm at areas where water pressure is up to 10 meters and use 18mmx25mm at areas where water pressure is more than 10 meters. Furthermore, concrete containing 3CC PB (B) Reinforced System and AQUAPEL 10 PB Reinforced shall comply strictly with the following minimum requirements: 1. The concrete cement (OPC) content shall not be less than 370 kg per cubic meter or minimum of 317 kg per cubic meter of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and 85 kg per cubic meter of Fly Ash (using Fly Ash)

Or Concrete Compressive Strength(Fc’) shall be at least 30 MPa or K-350 2. The water content shall be reduced to adjust for the HPI dosage and maintain the required workability; however the (water+HPI)/cement ratio must not exceed 0.37 for basement structures and not more than 0.36 for superstructures 3. Steel Reinforcement shall be using hard rib deformed bars 4. Other details of HPI concrete shall be conforming to current recommendations and requirements of Cementaid. 5. A trial mix must be conducted prior to construction and the cement content is to be stated on the premix concrete dockets 6. The product to be used must be proven by an independent authority to have had no reduction in performance after field exposure for a minimum of 15 years 7. The HPI concrete performance shall be warranted for 10 years including construction joints, pipe projections and tie rod points and leaking shrinkage crack 8. The Engineer & Architect reserves the right to require the concrete as placed and cured in the actual structure to comply with the water absorption limit within 7 days of placement. The Contractor shall provide costing for water absorption testing by an independent laboratory, and if so required, samples shall be taken during construction as directed by the

Engineer. These samples shall be tested according to BS 1881:Part 122:1983 and shall conform with the water absorption requirement. The Engineer further reserves the right to take cores from the structure to confirm compliance, chargeable to the main contractor HPI Dosages: 1. Terms and Conditions: 1. These terms and conditions should form part of the Purchase Order or Supply Contract Agreement 2. Above prices are subject to 10 % VAT 3. Above prices include Cementaid/Cementaid Distributor technicians who will dose HPI and HPI Reinforced Systems at the batching plant, will monitor HPI concrete workability(slump) prior to placing, will monitor contractor’s process of placing HPI concrete, compaction(vibration), curing and protection. Cementaid/Cementaid Distributor will also conduct random in-house waterproofing quality testing to make sure that the result of each HPI concrete placed at site would have the same value as what the client is paying for.

Above prices are valid when Purchase Order or Supply Contract Agreement can be issued Above prices are valid when Purchase Order or Supply Contract Agreement can be issued to PT. Cementaid Sales and Services Indonesia on or before 31 May 2019 PT. Cementaid Sales and Services Indonesia is a manufacturer and or supplier of the above products, thus its engagement shall be in a form of Purchase Order or Product Supply Agreement Above prices does not include any provision for wastage. Final payment shall be based on the actual quantities supplied/dosed and delivered at site. For HPI System/s, according to the total actual volume of HPI waterproof concrete as indicated in the delivery docket of the concrete supplier or in the Cementaid Accomplishment Report(Checklist) 30% down payment, the balance shall be by progress billing every at least 5% and shall be paid strictly 30 days upon receipt of Invoice. Late payment shall be subject to penalty of 1/10 of 1 % from the amount due per day of late payment or maximum of 5 %. Shall there be unpaid invoices, PT. Cementaid Sales and Services Indonesia may stop supplying Cementaid products and will only resume the supply upon payment of any due invoices by the client When the supply of HPI is required prior to issuance of P.O./Supply Contract Agreement, PT. Cementaid Sales and Services Indonesia will agree to commence the supply if the client will issue a written confirmation that the signed P.O./Supply Contract Agreement will be issued to PT. Cementaid Sales and Services Indonesia not later than 14 days after the first pouring date, otherwise, PT. Cementaid Sales and Services Indonesia will temporary suspend the supply and will resume upon issuance of P.O./Supply Contract Agreement PT. Cementaid Sales and Services Indonesia will also suspend HPI supply if HPI Accomplishment Report Checklist will not be signed and released by client’s representative at site 3 days after the HPI concrete placing. PT. Cementaid Sales and Services Indonesia will also suspend HPI supply if HPI Payment Certificate and other documents required in submitting invoice will not be signed and released by client’s representative at site 3 days after PT. Cementaid Sales and Services Indonesia had submitted the same documents PT. Cementaid Sales and Services Indonesia will also suspend HPI System supply if any of the invoiced HPI will not be paid by client 14 days after its due date Retention Money of 5% shall be deducted from each progress billing and shall be invoiced and paid by the client 6 months(when contract value is up to IDR 1.5 billion) or 12 months(when contract value is more than IDR 1.5 billion) after the supply completion. Rectifications of leaks if any shall not be related to any progress payment as the client already holds 5 % of retention money 10 Year Warranty shall be issued to the Contractor and Owner upon full payment of the contracted amount (except retention money) 10 Year warranty shall commence upon completion of the HPI concrete placing. PT. Cementaid Sales and Services Indonesia or its distributor will conduct random inhouse water absorption test, should the contractor require testing at independent laboratory, testing fees should be paid by the contractor/client.

The following are other BENEFITS in using Cementaid Hydrophobic Pore-blocking Ingredients (HPI) Sytem: a. Cementaid HPI concrete will be waterproofed PERMANENTLY and WILL NOT REQUIRE replacement after 10 to 15 years, in basements and even when used at roof decks, podium decks, suspended swimming pools, water tanks, pits, STP, etc. b. Cementaid HPI concrete will be DRY and NON-ABOSBENT, if concrete will have CRACKS, voids and failed construction joint, the source of leak will be easily located and direct repairs can be executed using Cementaid Polyurethane and Pressure Grout injection c. Cementaid/Cementaid Distributor will provide a DIRECT 10 year Performance Warranty to the Main Contractor and Owner. For this project, Cementaid will not engage application sub-contractor, eliminating usual conflict on warranty or responsibilities between the product manufacturer and applicator. EXTRA ADVANTAGE in using Cementaid HPI!!! Cementaid/Cementaid Distributor warranty covers running water leakage from cracks, except when proven as structural cracks and if HPI concrete is completed strictly according to Cementaid and Structural Engineer’s recommended procedures and minimum specification requirements. Applicators and other waterproofing suppliers normally DO NOT include repair of shrinkage CRACKS in their warranty!!! d. Cementaid/Cementaid Distributor provides comprehensive Quality Control System and engage trained Technicians at the Batch Plant & Site e. Cementaid/Cementaid Distributors conducts Water Absorption sampling and in-house testing, 2 samples each 100 m3 of concrete, EVERY waterproof concrete placing or as agreed with the client. This is to ensure that the quality of HPI concrete is monitored every single HPI concrete placing. Other so called “integral suppliers/applicators do not have this onsite testing” f.
