The History • Carnival is a celebration which takes place in many cities in different countries. • The most important event takes place in Brazil. • However, we are going to talk about the Carnival in Pego (in the Valencian Comunity)

Relevant Figures • Carnival in Pego is very special. • The town is transformated. • It´s plenty of colours.

• Figures say that it is followed by 50.000 people. • Is the most popular event in Alicante. • Many people visits Pego during Carnival each year.

Each year, the organisation designs a “poster” to be sent to other towns, cities to make merchandising to get as much as people the carnival ´s day.

This, which is shown on the left, is the one that has been made for this year.
