Tiger’s Tail Indoor Space, raffia strings / cloth strips
a. Divide class into groups of 2s. b. Appoint one as the ‘Tiger’. c. ‘Tiger’ tucks a raffia string/cloth strip into his shorts at the back. d. Upon whistle, other partner chases ‘Tiger’ and tries to pull off his ‘tail’. Switch roles. N.B. ‘Tiger’ cannot sit on or hold onto his own tail. Variations: a. Everyone gets a ‘Tiger’s’ tail. Upon whistle, students go around and try to pull others’ tails. b. At the end of 2 minutes, the student with most tails wins. Appoint 3 catchers to start and the other students are all ‘Tigers’ with tails. Once the tail is lost, that student becomes a cat
