Remember: • A Simple Sentence has one subject (noun) and one Predicate (verb) and it makes sense. • Example: The animals smelled from the rain

Remember: • A Complex Sentence has an Independent Clause joined with a Dependent Clause. • Example: The hot dogs tasted good after we played the game.
