2009 POSTER CONTEST Poster Theme: “Healthy is saying NO to Drugs” Drugs include alcohol (beer, wine, and whiskey), tobacco (cigarettes, chewing tobacco, cigars) and other drugs which include Marijuana, Ecstasy, Cocaine, Inhalants and others. Children who use drugs can become addicted – their body won’t let them quit using the drug. Some of the drugs will cause your brain and body not to work right. Some of the drugs like Ecstasy may even cause you to die. Taking these drugs is dangerous. When you are sick, your parents take you to the doctor and the doctor may prescribe drugs to make you well. These drugs are medicine and the amount and kind is made up especially for your body. To stay healthy and safe, say NO to Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drugs. You need to help your friends say NO to Drugs, too. Always say NO to All Drugs except medicine given to you by your doctor and your parents.
