Design A Poster Contest

Lorain Arts Council and the Lorain International Festival & Bazaar presents:

DESIGN A POSTER CONTEST First Prize $100 Second Prize $50 The Lorain Arts Council (LAC) has created all of its brochure/poster artwork with a design contest usually geared towards High School Seniors. This year the contest is open to every age and professional or amateur artist. In keeping this tradition alive the LAC is partnering with the Lorain International Association to create a new poster design contest. The final product will be a poster that the LIA/LAC may use as its poster to announce its upcoming Festival & Bazaar. The winner will be announced at a public artist reception held at the Lorain Arts Council Friday, May 10th at 6:00 p.m.

Rules • The artwork must be completed and in the hands of LIA/LAC by Wednesday, May 1st between the hours of 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Lorain Arts Council Gallery at 737 Broadway Ave. Lorain, OH 44052 (Earlier submissions can be arranged over the phone at (440) 320-0295) • Participants must create all original artwork • The poster size is to be 11x17 on any re-printable material or standard card stock • The artwork will become the property of LIA/LAC by submission • The poster must contain the phrase: “The 53rd Lorain International Festival” and the Lorain International Logo:
