Offerings: The March offerings will go toward Gehman, Hinkletown, Lancaster and Lititz Mennonite Schools. The offering last week was $2,335.25. Attendance last week was 99. Mar. 8, Sun.- You are invited to come see Bible Quizzing tonight at Hinkletown Mennonite Church, beginning at 6:30 P.M. Mar. 8, Sun.- You are invited to hear a music program given by Darlene McCosby’s students here at the church at 2 P.M. Mar. 10,Tues.- From 5-9 P.M., Isaac’s Restaurant and Deli(Strasburg, Ephrata, and Lititz)will host a fundraiser for Friendship Community. Twenty-five percent will go directly to Friendship. Forms may be obtained on our website www.friendshipcommunity.net . Mar. 11, Wed.- Prayer Meeting here at Gehman, 7 P.M. Mar. 11, Wed.- JGA, JBA, and Junior Youth will meet at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church from 7-8:30 P.M. Junior Youth- remember to wear your favorite team shirt and bring a favorite board game for out Game Night. JBA will finish building their rockets at Wednesday evening's meeting (March 11, 2009).

They will meet again on Saturday, March 14, at 1 PM, at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church to shoot them off. Mar. 13, Fri.- Fireproof, the new and popular Christian movie on marriage will be shown at our church at 7:00 p.m. Nursery care and “The Prince of Egypt” will be provided for children. Invite friends. Popcorn supplied for all. We need more volunteers to staff the nursery and the children’s movie. Please sign up on the sheet on the table in the narthex. Thanks to Kristin Hollinger for volunteering already. –Evangelism and Outreach Committee Mar. 15, Sun.- The New Believers class will begin during the Sunday School hour. Mar. 15, Sun.-Singing at Denver Nursing Home at 2:45 P.M. April 16, Thurs.- Ladies Night Out at Woodcrest Retreat at 6 P.M. Enjoy a delightful evening of a delicious buffet and listen to speaker Ruthie Dunkle sharing on the theme, “What About the Change?” Cost: $15. Call 738-2233 by April 6 for reservations. April 22, Wed.- Senior Citizens Day at Woodcrest Retreat from 9 A.M. - 2 P.M. Speaker Calvin Yoder- “Thriving in the Midst of Change.” Music provided by “The Strings of Assurance.” Lunch provided. Call 738-2233 for reservations. -Mark your calendars and plan to attend and participate in our annual members meeting scheduled for May 4 at 7:00 p.m. -If you are interested in purchasing peanut clusters to support the ministry of Woodcrest Retreat, please sign-up on the sheet on the table in the Narthex. The candy is $6.00 per pound and will be delivered to church on Sunday, March 29, 2009. Orders must be made by March 17th. See Kelly Horning with any questions. Lisa Horning has volunteered to type the recipes but invites other typists (of any age) to join her. –Evangelism and Outreach Committee -If anyone is interested in camping at Woodcrest Retreat the weekend of our church service there (July 24-26), call Woodcrest at 738-2233 to reserve a site. Specify one of the sites for Gehman Mennonite Church. Sites 3-8 (in circle) are blocked out for us. Please reserve your site as soon as possible. Sites are $23.50/night.
