JGA, JBA and Jr. Youth will meet at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church on Wednesday evening, September 10, from 7-8:30 pm. JGA (Junior Girls Activities) are for any girl from 2nd thru 5th grade and JBA (Junior Boys Activities) are for any boy from 2nd through 5th grade. Jr. Youth activities are open to any boy or girl in sixth through 8th grade. Each group meets the second Wednesday of the month from September thru May and does something different each month. If you are in any of these age groups, you are welcome to attend! Bowmansville District Sewing Circle will meet at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church on Wednesday, September 17 in the morning and afternoon. You are welcome to come for the entire time, or just a few hours as it suits you.

Offerings: The August offerings are for Freedom Gate Groceries, Susquehanna Valley Pregnancy Services, and Sewing Circle. Offering last week was $3,730.00 Attendance last Sunday was 100.

All ladies are welcome to attend the ladies retreat on Sept. 26-28. There is a sign up sheet in the narthex. Our speaker will be Lena Brown. Please sign up by Sept. 7. September 14, 2008 at 6.00 P.M. an outdoor service will be held in the tent at Landis Homes. The Landis Homes resident chorus will sing and Keith Weaver, moderator of Lancaster Mennonite Conference, will be speaking. It’s time again to update the Host & Hostess Schedule. Thank you. Join friends of Sunday School Meditations at an upcoming Dinner Meeting being held on Tuesday, September 9 at Midway Reception Center near Lititz. The meeting will begin at 6:30 P.M. The program will feature a power point presentation highlighting the fiftieth anniversary of Sunday School Meditations; also singing by the Weaverland Quartet. Come prepared to receive a blessing and to enjoy a delicious meal. See the poster on the bulletin board for details on ordering your complimentary tickets. The Fall Freedom Gate Banquet will be held Saturday, September 20th, at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to sponsor a table for 8 at $160 and invite your friends to the banquet see David Mohler.
