Into the Woods at Natomas Charter School The Natomas Charter School Performing and Fine Arts Academy is proud to present “Into the Woods,” a fairy tale-themed musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine about the experiences of a number of familiar fairy-tale and fable characters in the woods, as they strive to get their wishes, as well as face the consequences of those wishes. N Magazine Cover Artists’ Show N magazine celebrates a diverse group of cover artists in its fourth annual art exhibit. Among the artists is Inderkum's Brandon Duvall, student of Michelle Townsend. The show provides a way for the public to meet the artists who grace N magazine's covers each month. This event, cosponsored by the Benvenuti Performing Art Center, includes a reception and live classical music. N magazine cover artists include Barbara Damon, Dorothy Ewing, Fay Lorraine, Carol Abbe, Lund C. Tim, Brandon Duvall, Emilio Soltero, Nelson Reyes, John Witherspoon, La Monte Lamoureux, Eileen Downes, and Larry Meeks. WHAT TIME:

Ancient Materials and Contemporary Art Continues at Central Library Ancient Materials and Contemporary Art exhibit: For thousands of years, artists have been creating utilitarian objects and works for personal adornment, in stone, wood, clay, and bronze. Use of these materials has endured over the centuries and continues today. This exhibit features pieces by leading regional artists working within this concept. WHAT TIME:

Natomas Joint Vision Workshop The Natomas Joint Vision is a collaborative planning effort between the City and County of Sacramento to develop a vision which balances future urban growth with the permanent preservation of open space in the unincorporated portion of the Natomas Basin within Sacramento County. The Broad Visioning Process is a series of public workshops that will obtain broad public input in the development of an overall vision for the area. WHAT TIME:
