ANB 32, God’s dream for you Hello all, Once again I have heard the Lord give me specific instruction for what I am to speak. Jesus told us "what you hear in the ear, preach from the rooftops." I know that is my job. What is more, much of what He has me to speak has already be preached on the house tops. The more important a message is, the more God sends His servants to preach it, over and over until the people receive and understand. Praise the Lord. He is just that good to us. He wants us to have His wisdom more than we ever could. So today I come to you with a message, the most important message of all. "It is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish." Matthew 18:14. God wants none of you to be lost, He wants you to be saved. So how must you be saved? Hear once again of God' s greatest desire for your life. God has many desires for you, but the greatest and most foundational desire is that you be in fellowship with Him. We know that Adam sinned against God, and when he did God had to banish him from His presence. God is perfect, and can have no communion with sin. Adam sinned, and when he did he made it so all of his seed would be tarnished by this sin. This is why we are born with original sin. We are born outside of fellowship with God. We are born imperfect. Even if we weren' t born that way, we all have sinned in our own hearts. This alone keeps us from God' s presence. So we have two types of sin working against us, the original sin we are born with and the sins we commit every day. Now in the old testament God would accept the blood of animals as atonement for the sins of the people. He would let their blood cover over the sins of the people. What does that teach us, there was a price that had to be paid. This was an imperfect solution for God, however, for man was still separated from Him. This is why the priest had to be so purified before He could enter the holy of holies, where God' s presence resided. But God didn' t want that either, He wanted free interaction between us and Him. So God devised a plan. He found a man so loyal to Him that this man would sacrifice his own son just because God told him to. This man was Abraham. God stopped this sacrifice, and God honored this man. Because Abraham was willing to give God his first born son, God was willing to give Abraham, and all the children of Abraham (all who accept Jesus Christ), His first born son. So God came to earth as a man, for Jesus was fully God and fully man. God came here as a man and was tortured and murdered by the very people He came to save. Instead of animal' s blood, we now have the perfect blood of Jesus Christ to cover over our sins. This can take care of the second type of sin and its effect on our relationship with God. But after Jesus died He plundered hell and took the keys of death and hell out of there. How could He do this, He was perfect. He was able to enter hell because He was cloaked in our sin. He got down there, took it off, left it there, then starting overthrowing all the rulers of darkness. Praise the Lord. Then, having died to sin and leaving it behind in hell, He was raised to a new life. He was reborn. He was raised from the dead.
What Jesus did was pave the way for you and I to get rid of our sin nature, just like He did. When we believe and accept what Jesus Christ did for us, we are reborn into Him. The truth is we are all dead when we live in sin, we must be raised from the dead just like Jesus was. By believing in Jesus God allows you to follow Jesus'path, where you die to sin and are reborn to righteousness. You are reborn into the perfection that was Jesus Christ. This takes care of the first type of sin. What is more? You don' t have to be perfect once this happens. You have the perfect blood of Jesus Christ to cover your sins. Your relationship to God is fully established and protected when you accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life. Praise the Lord. "Marvel not that I said unto you, you must be born again." John 3:7 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6 Don' t you see what Jesus means here. Unless you are born again through faith in Jesus Christ, you can never get rid of the original sin tarnish on you. Without removing that blemish you can never come back to a full relationship with God. God' s desire is that we all be saved. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:9-13 Don' t risk your eternity another second. If you don' t know right now that you would go to heaven when you die, then pray the following prayer in faith. "Father God. I believe what Your Son Jesus Christ did for me. I believe He was fully man and fully God. I believe He came to this earth to die for my sins. I believe He died on the cross, but on the third day He was raised from the dead. I believe He now rules on reigns over all. I believe He did all this so that I could be reborn unto righteousness and right standing with you. I repent of my sins. In Jesus'Name I accept what Jesus Christ did for me. Thank you Lord for saving me. Thank You Lord that I' ll spend eternity with you in Heaven. In Jesus'Name I pray, Amen." God loves you all so much. He loves you all equally. God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34). He desires that you be saved just as much as He desires I or anyone else be saved. Praise God. I don' t care who you are or what your background is. This message is for you. We all must be saved. No work will get you there, you must be born again. Hallelujah. God' s greatest desire, God' s dream for your life, is that Heaven be packed with saints who willfully chose Him. I can' t wait to be there with you all. Praise the Lord.
