For page 62, we worked on solving problems on prime factorizations. Prime factorization is the way to break up the number into groups smaller and smaller until you reach only its prime factors. In this lesson we had to find out the prime factorization of some numbers, but not only that. I also had to find the factors of the number too, and tell whether the number was prime or composite. The activity was ok, but there were some difficulties at the beginning because it was a while since I had done questions on prime factorizations. I learned that prime factorization shows what prime factors are in the number and how often the prime factors repeat.
