C1AA13021 STRESS LEVEL RELATIONS WITH DURATION OF PLAYING VIDEO GAME ON STUDENTS IN SMP NEGERI 1 KOTA SUKABUMI IN WORKING AREA OF PUSKESMAS SELABATU KOTA SUKABUMI XII + 103 Pages, V CHAPTER, 10 Tables, 1 Image + Attachments Video games is a new phenomenon that occurs in the community. Along with the development of the era the spread of video games increasingly widespread and popular especially by adolescents. Indonesia became one of the countries with the highest number of video game players in the world after China. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship stress level with the duration of playing video games in adolescents. Stress is a physical and psychic reaction to every speech that occurs. Video games are games that use interaction with the user interface through images generated by video devices. Teenagers are those who are still at the age of 13 - 21 years. This type of research is correlational, the variables studied are stress levels and duration of playing video games. Population in this study that is all students of SMP Negeri 1 Kota Sukabumi who play video games. The sample was 197 samples using proportional random sampling using univarite and somers’d bivariate analysis. Based on the results of research shows that most respondents are at normal stress level and play with low frequency duration of 51 respondents and the result of the statistical test is 0,012. The conclusion obtained from the results of research respondents students of SMP Negeri 1 Kota Sukabumi the higher the level of stress the longer the duration of playing video games required. It is expected that related parties can conduct monitoring and evaluation on the matter. References Keyword
