DIAGENETICS AND PARAGENETIC STUDY OF LIMESTONE BULU FORMATION, MULYOAGUNG AREA, SINGGAHAN DISTRICT, TUBAN, EAST JAVA ABSTRACT
Reseach area located on Tuban, East Java with coordinate 6055’13’’-6057’55” LS and 111045’37”-111047’47” BT. Physsiographicly, research area located in Anticlinorium Rembang. Method of this research are geological mapping, rock sampling and petrography analysis for knowing diagenetic process been, then make limestone paragenetic of Bulu Formation for knowing diagenetic environtment changes been based on steno superpossision law. Diagenesis is an activity which contain physical and chemistry changes in sediment and sedimentary rock after depositional, uncontain high pressure and temperature such us metamorphism. With doing diagenesis study, we can know processes which affact porosity in limestone. Study was do with 9 limestone sample of Bulu Formation. The result of these sample is that proses of diagenesis are: cementation, micritisation microbial, dolomitisation-dedolomitation, neomofmism, compaction and disolution. Diagenesis environtmen of Bulu Formation’s limestone are marine phreatic, mixing zone, burial, meteoric phreatic and meteoric vadose. At the end, aim of this study is for knowing that limestone of Bulu Formation could be good resevoir or not in North of East Java Basin based on porosity effected of diagenetic process which have been.
