Arabian Oryx have adapted themselves for dessert environments. Their fur is white because white reflects the sun and helps them stay cool. They also have wide feet that help them stay on top of the sand, rather than sinking in. Finding food and water is difficult in desert. To find new sources of food and water, Arabian Oryx move around a lot. Some scientists say that Arabian Oryx seem to know where to find the source of water even if it is far away. Arabian Oryx can walk a long way without drinking water. They are herbivores, meaning that they only eat plants like grass, roots, and tubers.
