Depart Los Angeles aboard a spacious jet for your transpacific journey.
Day 2 - Arrive Shanghai Upon arrival, you will be transferred by air-conditioned coach to the reserved hotel. After this long voyage, it will be a pleasure to settle into your luxurious accommodations.
Hotel: Shanghai Hua ting Hotel or same class hotel (5 star) Day 3 - Shanghai Today you will get the opportunity to explore Shanghai, a modern metropolis and China ’s economical and financial capital. You will visit the Cheng Huang Temple, the People's Square, and the Waterfront Bund. You will get a sense of the fast -paced, fashionable lifestyles of Shanghai residents. Also, a silk carpet factory will be arranged to visit later today. Enjoy a Huangpu River boat ride tonight, where you can witness the glamorous views of Shanghai in many different views.
Hotel: Shanghai Huating Hotel or same class hotel (5 star) (Breakfast, Lunch) Day 4 - Shanghai – Xian by flight In the morning, you will have a city tour to the Pudong New Developed Area. You will then ride the Meglev, the world's fastest train, to the airport and take a short flight to Xian, the renowned starting location of the ancient Silk Road. Xian was also the capital belonging to eleven ancient dynasties in Chinese history. It is a city rich with over 5,000 years of culture and history, and a must stay while visiting China. You will take an afternoon city excursion to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
Hotel: Xian Grand New World or same class hotel (5 star) (Breakfast, Dinner) Day 5 - Xi'an The Terra Cotta Army of the Qin Emperor is regarded as the eighth wonder of the world, and it has drawn thousands of visitors to Xian each year. Today, you will visit these amazing terra-cotta warriors and horses, whose been protecting the Qin Emperor in the afterlife for more than 2000 years. Afterwards, you will head back into town and drive by the over 600 years old famous City Wall.
Hotel: Xian Grand New World or same class hotel (5 star)(Breakfast, Lunch) Day 6 - Xi'an You will depart from Xian to Beijing, the political center of China. You will first start visiting the royal Summer Palace – the emperor’s escape from the Beijing’s summer heat. Take a stroll along the lake in the palace and enjoy the picturesque view of the palace, then settle into your luxurious accommodations.

You will visit the Great Wall today. On the way, you will have a short visit at a well-known jade factory where you will enjoy the beautiful jade art. Then, onto the legendary Great Wall, which took several dynasties to complete and one of the great wonders of the world. Plan to bring comfortable walking shoes if you dare to scale the Great Wall and its magnificent history. You will then descend to visit the Path to the Divinity (Mausoleum Road). Later on, enjoy an exciting Chinese Acrobatics Show.
Hotel: Loong Palace Hotel or same class hotel (5 star) (Breakfast, Lunch) Day 8 - Beijing Beijing is the capital of China and has recently been selected as the host city for the 2008 Olympics. A tour coach will pick you up at the hotel, with the first stop arriving at Tiananmen Square, which is a famous landmark and holds distinction as being the world's largest public square. After lunch, you will have a short visit to a famous local pearl store. You will then continue your visit to the Forbidden City and the Royal Summer Palace. In addition, you will have an opportunity to taste the delicious roast Peking Duck lunch today.

Chinese Tourist Visa Travelers must hold a valid Chinese Tourist Visa for this trip. For $200* including express mail fees, Spring Tour will process your visa application and return your passport and visa in four working days, plus mailing time. One passport photo and your passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the departure date must be included with the application. Special Fares: Single Supplement: Single travelers requesting private accommodations will pay the single-room supplement as specified in the applicable Tour brochure and contract. Children Sharing a Bed: Children aged 2 to 11 years sharing a bed with parents in a double room may travel for 75% of the standard double -occupancy rate. Triple Occupancy: Subject to availability, a third adult or child aged over 11 years requiring an additional bed in a shared room may travel at the standard double-occupancy rate. Deposit: A $300.00 (USD) deposit per person is required at the time of booking. If reservations are made less than 26 days before departure, full payment must be made at the time of booking. Cancellation & Penalties Written Notice: Cancellation requests must be submitted to YTB by email at

Cancellations received before the final payment due date (35 days before departure) will forfeit the full $300 USD per passenger deposit. b. Cancellations received after the final deposit date, but at least 10 days before departure will forfeit 50% of the total tour price. c. Cancellations received less than 10 days before departure (including "no shows") will forfeit 100% of the total tour price. No refunds will be given in such cases. d. No refunds will be made for visa processing or other special service fees. Cost of Tour Includes: International airfare from the US gateway city to the tour starting point, local air, bus and ship transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, sightseeing and admissions explicitly specified in the itinerary, and a professional English speaking tour guide. US gateways are Los Angeles for China tours, New York for Europe tours. The local host travel agencies and tour guides reserve the right to make alterations or adjustments to the itinerary due to weather conditions, time constraints, safety concerns or political situations. Cost of the Tour Excludes: Tips, airport taxes, Chinese and Europe visa/Travel permit application fees, meals not included in the itinerary, and personal expenses such as phone bill, laundry, optional tours, postage, excess baggage charges, entertainment outside of the itinerary, etc. Spring Tour International reserves the right to adjust the total tour price to reflect changes in airport taxes and fuel surcharges according to airline policies and government regulations. Baggage Baggage will be on the motor coach with travelers throughout the tour, so each traveler may bring no more than two pieces of luggage. Note that airline carry-on bags such as roller bags and small suitcases will NOT fit in the overhead bins or under the seats of the motor coach, so all bags must be stowed in the luggage compartment. Due to space limitations, additional bags can not be accommodated. China: Passengers holding adult-fare tickets are entitled to a free airline baggage allowance of 40kg (88lbs) for first class, 30kg (66lbs) for business class, and 20kg (44 lbs) for economy class. No free baggage allowance is granted to infants. Europe: Two pieces of checked baggage weighing up to 75lbs. each are allowed on international flights. Loss or Damage: Baggage is at owner's risk and is the passenger's responsibility. Baggage should be locked at all times. Spring Tour is not responsible for excess baggage charges or loss or damage to baggage or contents. However, the local tour guide for Spring Tour will assist travelers in filing airline claims for checked baggage that is damaged or lost in transit. Passports and Visas Every tour participant must hold a valid passport valid for at least 6 months from the tour departure date and any required visas. (Visa is required for all China tours.) Spring Tour International is not responsible for denial of entry by any immigration office or customs house, even if the tour participant holds a valid passport with proper visas. Foreign officials and reporters are prohibited from participating in Tibet tours Travel Insurance Spring Tour recommends that travelers purchase Travel Insurance, either through Spring International, or through your YTB RTA. Remember that your US health and accident insurance provide little or no coverage while traveling outside the US. Travel Insurance generally provides coverage for illness, accident, trip interruption, and loss or damage to baggage, etc. China Safety Insurance is included in China Tours. Traveler's Health Fitness to Travel: Every tour participant is responsible for his/her own health condition and must decide whether he/she is sufficiently fit to travel. Spring Tour International recommends that travelers with physical disabilities or other health conditions obtain approval from their physician before booking. Travelers are also responsible to ensure that their immunizations are current and appropriate for the tour destinations. Spring Tour International undertakes no legal responsibility for participants' health problems. Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in any tour coach or in non -smoking areas encountered during the tour. Responsibility Spring Tour is responsible for the implementation of the tour arrangements detailed in the Spring Tour International brochure or website, including transportation, sightseeing, accommodations and service from local suppliers. Tour arrangements will not be altered except as required to ensure the safety of the group. Should any group participant deviate from the itinerary, he or she will bear any additional charges or other consequences of such deviation. In order to guarantee the best interests of the group and enable travelers to enjoy their trip, the tour leader reserves the right to accept or reject persons desiring to join the group during the tour, and to expel any participant whose behavior may harm others or detract materially from their tour experience. Spring Tour International accepts no responsibility for an expelled participant's conduct after expulsion. Spring Tour International and its agents are not responsible for any loss or damages due to delay or changes of schedule caused by weather, political situation, natural disaster, epidemics, war, criminal activities or any other cause beyond its control. All such losses or expenses have to be borne and paid for by the group members jointly. If the rest of the tour schedule is cancelled due to such cause, unused charges for meals, accommodations, entrance fees and the like could be refunded at the company's sole discretion. Spring Tour reserves the right to alter or adjust the itinerary as deemed necessary to safeguard the welfare and best interests of the tour participants. The carriers, hotels, bus companies and other suppliers are responsible for the safety and security of tour participants in their respective facilities, and for resolving any issues arising out of their respective policies and regulations. In case of an accident or other emergency, the traveler must submit loss or damage claims in the city where the mishap took place within 24 hours.
