UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KEPERAWATAN Skripsi, Januari 2019 Ovi Aprisa Nini Pengalaman Klien Lansia Selama Menjalani Terapi Komplementer Akupuntur Untuk Menurunkan Hipertensi Di Klinik Ibnu Sina Palembang xvii + 85 halaman + 3 tabel + 3 skema + 1 gambar + 13 lampiran ABSTRAK Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit yang berbahaya karena dapat berakibat kematian dan stroke. Perawatan pasien hipertensi tidak hanya terfokus pada pengobatan medis kedokteran, namun sudah berkembang pada pengobatan alternatif komplementer yaitu salah satunya terapi akupuntur. Akupuntur adalah suatu terapi dengan cara melakukan pengobatan dengan menusukkan jarum pada titik-titik tertentu di kulit untuk menghilangkan nyeri dan mengobati kondisi kesehatan tertentu. Pemilihan terapi akupuntur bagi klien riwayat hipertensi diyakini memiliki alasan tersendiri dalam pengambilan keputusan pengobatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengalaman klien riwayat hipertensi yang menjalani terapi komplementer akupuntur. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam. Metode colaizzi digunakan dalam analisis data penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian didapatkan pengalaman klien riwayat hipertensi yang menjalani terapi komplementer akupuntur memiliki alasan unik dan berbeda. Pengalaman klien yang dirasakan setelah akupuntur seperti badan terasa ringan dan tidur nyenyak. Segi ekonomi, sumber informasi dan segi pelayanan juga mempengaruhi proses pengambilan keputusan klien. Penelitian ini diharapkan perlunya tenaga kesehatan sebagai praktisi terapi akupuntur dan sebagai tenaga kesehatan dapat mengarahkan praktisi akupuntur non medis untuk melakukan pelayanan sesuai prosedur yang telah ditentukan.

The treatment for hipertensi patients do not only focus on medical treatment, but also develop in an alternative complementary therapynamed acupuntur therapy. Acupuncture is a therapy by doing treatment by inserting needles at certain points on the skin to relieve pain and treat certain health conditions. There are exact reasons of taking acupuntur therapy as a decision for treating the client with hipertensi history. This qualitative phenomenological study is aimed to dig the experience of the clients with hipertensi history who also went through the treatment of acupuntur therapy. The data were collected from an in-depth interview and analyzed with colaizzi method. The results showed that the client went through complementary acupuntur therapy for unique and different reasons. For example, they claimed that their body became more relaxed and they could sleep well. Economical side, source of information and the service aspect also influences the client's decision making process. This study showed that the medical practitioners as the acupuntur therapists were needed and they could lead the non-medical acupuntur therapist to conduct their service based on the set procedure.
