last meeting was too long so we will try to make it shorter. fidel raised chairs the last time to keep us in the room :-). so now we don’t hear any comments any more…. 1.atasks follow-up: a leo magazine: the leo magazine looks nice (surprise, surprise i made it so… :-) ). the next magazine will be released in 2 weeks so send your articels to steffi! the next magazine will handle about the most crazy outstanding idea you realised in your country! other topics: calendar, pre lef, egyptian weekend —> fidel you should ask your md if we are able to publish the article in the leo or lions news of your country! we will choose one article that we will try to publish around the countries. b. country reports: we received 6 reports out of 28!!!! so fidel wants us to fill in the form you can find it at the yahoo groups (excel file)!!! we all so decided that you only need to fill in 2 country reports instead of 4 (each year). c. website: frosch (austria) bought the following internet addresses: www.leo-clubs.org, .com, .at so now we are looking for a hosting. fidel said that we can do it with a server somewhere in the dessert for $100. so that bring us to the next problem: the costs! 3 options so please ask your md 1.you take (for example €10) of your ilo budget 2.each country donate €10 3.every year an other country will pay for the hosting d. t– shirts:

we ordered 40 t-shirts. it will take 2 to 4 weeks until they are finished. don’t worry they are good quality they are made in france (instead of the washable egyptian pins:-) ) 2. leo's international project (aka leo europe project) the first idea was collecting food at the supermarkets. but we decided to do something for blind people… you can send your ideas to fidel. (ask your members in your country) deadline until 30 november!!!! 3.ceew & med workshop ceew: we will waiting for candidates (hungary) med: tunisia: from 15th until 18th march, information will follow 4. new leo countries: they are a lot of countries waiting to start leo clubs! so we advise that we assign an ilo for each country who needs help: russia: fidel ukraine: andrea poland: christian ireland: chilla sweden: jenni czech republic: steffi montenegro: steffi hong kong: steffi brazil: aziz serbia: agi denmark: steffi norway:jenni china: fabio we will receive a report of these ilos on the first week of december! 5. structure book: it’s getting form thanks to steffi, burcu and agi !!!! the other one was 3 years old so we are updating it! every country will receive the new structure book so you can show your md and they can vote for it! it will presented at the pre forum and voted at the forum! 6. next meeting: pre lef after the pre lef we will meet in: a)tunisia (med) 15th until 18th march cost: €135 (and extra €15 for nc) more info will follow b) portugal march c)egypt sharm weekend 6th until 10th april you will know the results in one week! 7. lef 2009 italy is running for 2009!!!! 8. other business: steffi will clean the yahoo groups. fidel is also asking if there are people who need guidelines to start up a club,…. so we can make it for the new leo countries. fidel is also inviting us for the sharm weekend (if we fly to cairo we can stay as long that we want):-) chilla is inviting us for the cambridge harry potter weekend from second until the fifth of november 2007. verry important: leos won’t be a project anymore of the lions. we are going to be affiliates with the lions, so we will receive the same status as a lioness club.

the maximum age for a leo club may be chosen by the lions md of your country. next meeting: one big question: 1 ilo for a district or 1 ilo for a country!
