November Happenings at North Jersey Equestrian Center Open House and Intercollegiate Show – All Are Welcome November 2, 2009 - Pompton Plains, NJ - North Jersey Equestrian Center, the state of the art equestrian facility located at 1 Carlson Place in Pompton Plaines, NJ is pleased to announce two special events for the month of November. Autumn Celebration Open House On Sunday, November 15, 2009 – NJEC will be hosting an Autumn Celebration Open House. There will be activities that appeal to everyone in the equestrian community, including riding demonstrations from NJEC’s premiere trainers, a blowout tack sale, an equestrian fashion show, and a sale horse demonstration. The schedule for the day is: 11 – 11:30 a.m.

Jumping Demo - Michael Hochstetler

11:30 a.m.– 12 noon Dressage Demo – Susan LaBagnera 12 noon – 12:30 p.m. Fashion Show with London Equestrian Outfitters 1-1:30 p.m.

Hunter Demo – Johanna Faricelli

1:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Mounted Shooting – Karl Bauer

2:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Sale Horse Demonstration

Vendors participating in the Open House include: Barnard’s Saddlery, Beval Saddlery, Devoucoux Saddlery, Globe Western Boot World, London Equestrian Outfitters, Ramapo Saddlery, and Town – Country Veterinary Services. Intercollegiate Horse Show NJEC is proud to announce its first intercollegiate horse show. On Sunday, November 8 riders from Stevens Institute of Technology (Hoboken, NJ), United States Military Academy at West Point (NY), Centenary College (Hackettstown, NJ), and Sacred Heart University (Piscataway, NJ). The show begins at 10 a.m. and will include competitions in horsemanship and reining. Our judges for the day will be Dennis Sienicki and Kennis Fairfax. The public is welcome to come watch the show.
