What is Heat • •
Heat is a form of energy. Heat can be absorbed by things around us. For example : a tin can that is left under the sun will feel hot. • Objects that made from metal are heat conductor. • In other words ; a) an object becomes hotter if it absorbs heat. b) an object becomes colder if it loses heat.
What is Temperature •
Temperature is a measure of how hot or cold and object is.
•
Colder objects will have a lower temperature.
•
Hotter objects will have a higher temperature.
•
The apparatus for measuring temperature is thermometer.
